Asian Vinaigrette


This dressing came from a mother of one of my students in Switzerland. My Outward Bound group had chosen the team name, “Raindrops.” Our bandanas were purple, and we had dinner several times in my apartment once we returned from the trip. One night a local student’s mother made dinner for all of us.

Mrs. Cambata’s Asian Vinaigrette:

4 T wine vinegar

3 T soy sauce

4 T liquid chicken stock

2 T olive oil

2 T sesame oil

3 tsp sugar

2 garlic cloves crushed

3 tsp grated ginger

4 scallions, finely sliced
